The MID-03 Midrange Control is designed to work with your LHZ preamp and provides 4 different midrange EQ settings that are selectable via the onboard DIP switches. The frequency ranges are designed to perfectly complement the EQ curves of the LHZ preamp.
The MID-03 connects between the LHZ preamp and the output jack to add pleasing midrange control without impacting the dynamic responsiveness and articulate harmonics of the preamp.
A center-detent knob ensures you know exactly where the flat EQ point is, allowing you to dial in midrange cut & boost settings with confidence.
RIGHTHAND & LEFTHAND OPERATION: This unit is available in two configurations. The MID-03-R is for right-hand operation, and the MID-03-L is for left-hand operation. These controls cannot be modified to change from Right to Left control, so it is important to select the correct model number when ordering.
MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS: The MID-03 is typically paired with an LHZ-04 preamp with CONCENTIC pots that uses only a single hole for both Bass and Treble controls. Basses with 4 knobs (typically volume, blend, bass, and treble) will need to either:
1. Convert their LHZ to use concentric bass & treble pots,
2. Eliminate the blend pot to always run both pickups, or
3. Add a 5th hole for the midrange control.

FEEDBACK & TESTIMONIALS:
Tonight’s rehearsal experience with the LHZ-04 + MID-03 in the RST went fantastic, I’m super happy with this set up and tone that I’m getting from the RST! This preamp with the MID-03 module has made this bass a super versatile tone monster, where I can quickly on the fly dial-in the tones that I need to cover a broad range of cover tunes.

"This is an easy upgrade and the versatility it brings compared to the 2 band turned this bass into a real chameleon, but a chameleon that is well capable of accessing its roots. I can't wait to install it with the EMGs in my MK5. I think it's going to absolutely KILL in that bass."
